Medical Training Manager - Healix Health Services

Salary: Up to £39,000 depending upon experience.

Location: Hampton, Middlesex.

Healix Health Services Ltd is a healthcare company providing medical advisory and case management services within the UK. Due to new business and our expanding workload, we have an opportunity for a registered nurse to join us as our Medical Training Manager for our Medical Case Managers.

Our Medical Case Managers remotely coordinate a number of corporate and insured healthcare schemes providing clients with:

  • Medical advice on current treatments and specific treatment plans
  • Advice on medical services and treatments available in the UK and how to access these
  • Case Management from initial consultation to discharge
  • Access to management of Early Intervention Medical Schemes.

The Role The Medical Training Manager will be required to provide teaching, guidance, support and updates for new and current team members.  Additionally, the Medical Training Manager will be required to put training plans in place for employees toensure they are kept up to date, retain practical skills and the confidence to carry out work related tasks efficiently.

The Medical Training Manager may on occasion be required to visit client sites or attend meetings with providers, clients or other companies Healix may have dealings with.

The Person  We are looking for a bright, personable registered nurses with a minimum of 3 years recent clinical experience within adult nursing, with the ability to coach, encourage and motivate people. Applicants should have good IT skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work directly with clients. Additional, applicants should be able to work independently in order to plan and manage their workload. 

Experience of working within the medical insurance sector would be an advantage.

The Hours  We work a 35 hour week, Monday to Friday covering 8am to 6pm and Saturday mornings from 8am to 1pm. In order to provide the cover required we operate a shift pattern Monday to Friday, shifts are 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm and 10am to 6pm. Individuals are required to work one Saturday per month for which a day off in lieu is given.
