Assistance Co-ordinator(s)

Salary: Up to £25,000 depending upon experience.

Location: Esher, Surrey

Healix International - We provide an end-to-end service to policyholders who are taken ill abroad and need medical assistance or advice possibly leading to a repatriation home or evacuation to another country where better medical facilities are available. Our expertise in assessing a patient's condition and medical needs, means we can make informed decisions about whether to use air ambulances or commercial flights with appropriately qualified and equipped medical escorts.

The Role   Due to our expanding caseload and Healix Group of Companies growth, we now require additional Assistance Co-ordinators to join our Esher based Team.  Working alongside Doctors and Nurses as part of a fast paced and diverse team, the role requires the provision of a service responding to the needs of International clients.  You will be providing support and advice to policyholders, managing their expectations whilst adhering to the terms of the policy.

Medical Case Manager - Healix Health Services

Salary: Up to £36,400 depending upon experience.

Location: Esher, Surrey.

Healix Health Services Ltd is a healthcare company providing medical advisory and case management services within the UK. Due to new business and our expanding workload, we have opportunities within Healix Health Services for registered nurses to join us as Medical Case Managers.

The Role  Our Medical Case Managers remotely coordinate a number of corporate and insured healthcare schemes providing clients with:

  • Medical advice on current treatments and specific treatment plans.
  • Advice on medical services and treatments available in the UK and how to access these.
  • Case Management from initial consultation to discharge.
  • Access to management of Early Intervention Medical Schemes.

Expatriate Medical Case Manager

Salary: Up to £40,000 depending upon experience.

Location: Esher, Surrey.

Healix International's expatriate team provide medical advisory and case management services to British Government employees and their families based overseas.  Due to new business and our expanding workload, we have opportunities within Healix International for registered nurses to join us as Medical Case Managers.

The Role  Our Medical Case Managers, along with Assistance Co-ordinators, remotely co-ordinate medical requirements and care plans for individuals and their families posted overseas, to ensure we provide care to the highest standard.   The role is extremely diverse and may cover remotely coordinating a number of corporate and insured healthcare schemes, providing clients with:

  • Pre-posting screening assessments
  • Travel vaccination requirements
  • Medical advice, which may require liasing with one of our in-house GPs
  • Medical advice on current treatments and specific treatment plans
  • Case Management from initial consultation to discharge
  • Care plans for pre-existing conditions, taking into account local facilities, nature of case and cost of care
  • Organisation of repatriation or evacuation, including patient care and travel/accommodation for their dependants
  • Support through the management of repatriation requirements, whilst considering the limitations of travel for sick/injured individuals.
