Healix IT
Healix IT was set up in 2005 to support the needs of the Group. This step was taken to meet the growing demands for modern systems both internally and for our clients. Current products and ongoing projects include Policy Sales and screening systems, Risk Rating Calculators, Screening integrations into existing systems, a Case/Claims Management System, Medical/Security Country Database to name a few. All of these products are built with the latest web based technology.
Healix International
Healix International provides medical case monitoring and evacuation services to the travel industry. It is the largest such company in the UK, handling approx. 25,000 in-patient cases and 1,500 repatriations a year, including over 350 air ambulances. Healix funds its own private jets (Lear 35 & 45), based in the UK and Germany, for air ambulances.
Healix Insurance Services
Healix Insurance Services was created to undertake insurance mediation business, capitalising on the Group's strong market position to provide tailored products for travel, medical and personal lines. Acting as a wholesale broker, we partner with major insurance companies who have committed to provide capacity on a fully delegated authority basis, in order to provide flexible and competitive insurance products to our clients.
Healix Risk Rating
Healix Risk Rating is the largest provider of medical risk assessment tools to the travel insurance industry in the UK. It has pioneered the use of web enabled technology in this area, and in 2006 its systems assessed over 2 million insurance applicants. Over 2,000 medical conditions are included in the database, with sophisticated question-sets leading to medical scores reflecting individual underwriting risk. A doctor-led team provides training and support to system users. More recently, Healix has developed risk assessment tools for private medical insurance and for life insurance, and these are now in operational use.

Healix Health Services has a long term relationship with leading hospitals and healthcare professionals in the UK. Its proven track record in reducing and containing claims costs makes it a valuable resource for any employer, insurer or individual. The dedicated team of doctors and nurses can provide bespoke medical services and case management for all areas of private medical insurance, risk management, early intervention and sickness absence management.
